The Jeffries lab is currently seeking qualified graduate students to begin graduate study in the Spring or Fall of 2016. You can learn more about graduate study in the Jeffries lab at at TCU here.

Nearly 40% of undergraduates in the Biology Department take part in faculty research. The Jeffries lab provides research opportunities for undergraduate students seeking to: 1) serve as volunteer research assistants, 2) recieve credit hours in Independent Research (Biol 40900) or closely-related courses (Bioi 40803, Biol 40003), or 3) complete thier Honors Senior Theses. Undergraduates wishing to conduct research in the Jeffries lab typically commit  to volunteering in the lab for 10 hours/week for at least one, but typically two or three academic years. Dr. J encourages students hoping to do research to begin early and gives preference to students applying to work in lab if they are in their freshman or sophomore years. Additional details regarding Honors Senior Thesis work can be found here.

Students interested in pursuing undergraduate or graduate research in the Jeffries lab should complete this application form and return it to Dr. J via email at m.jeffries@tcu.edu, along with a resume or CV and a breif statement describing their career goals and research interests.
